Overview
Renewable & Alternative Energy Association of Pakistan (REAP) aim to promote alternative renewable energy sector in Pakistan and limit our dependence on conventional non-renewable fuels. REAP is hosting 1st International Exhibition for Alternative Energy and Energy Efficiency on 28th-30th July 2011 at the Convention Center Islamabad.
GreenBiz participates in this auspicious event to address some policy initiatives in order to accelerate Research and Development technology transfers to Pakistan in the renewable and alternative energy sector. The idea is to create awareness among the masses about the prospects of renewable energy options.
Pakistan is the land of untapped energy resources and unexplored opportunities and is internationally recognized as a progressive developing country. However, the increasing energy demand of the country underpins its future growth. To progress with a constant trajectory, it’s highly essential to address energy crisis. GreenBiz in collaboration with REAP intends address energy challenges across all sectors. In this regard, GreenBiz showcases a host of products that can address the country’s energy demands by providing

Undoubtedly, it is the need of the hour to switch to and optimize alternative power options but the prevention of energy wastage also needs to be emphasized. Through this exhibition, various entities like the government, civil society and the private sector will enable the country to overcome this massive gap in power supply and demand
